Key Account Manager (International Academia Segment)

Solis BioDyne  is an Estonian biotechnology company with more than 30 years of experience on the international market. The molecular biology reagents created by us through research-intensive product development are used by more than 500 different companies, universities, and research institutions all over the world. We are growing and need fresh ideas and strong support for our sales team in technical discussions with the customers. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and grow international academia key accounts. 
  • Focus on academia and public-sector customers, building and expanding collaborations with major research institutes. 
  • Handling and processing of orders. 
  • Manage contracts and pricing discussions, if needed. 
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Management, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment between academia customer needs, product strategy, and execution. 
  • Provide structured market insights and academia customer feedback to support product development and portfolio positioning. 

Your profile

  • At least bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business Management, or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience in key account management and international sales, preferably within academia, scientific, technical, or biotech markets. 
  • Good negotiation, presentation, and cross-cultural communication skills. 
  • Results-driven, with a focus on sustainable revenue growth through strategic academia partnerships. 
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to translate market and customer insights into action. 
  • Accuracy and speed are essential personal qualities. 
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage. 
  • Full-time position based in Tartu, with a minimum of 3 days per week on-site.
