SolisAcura™ Probe Genotyping qPCR Mix is based on genetically modified SolisAcura™ Exo(+) DNA Polymerase, giving the master mix a feature of detecting misaligned nucleotide at the 3’ end of the primer, and 10-15 times higher fidelity compared to the wild-type Taq.
5′→3′ exonuclease activity of the DNA polymerase makes the master mix compatible with hydrolysis probes. It is also compatible with hybridization and displacement probes.
The novel polymerase is also engineered to have faster synthesis rates and is inherently inhibitor-tolerant, ensuring excellent performance with crude or challenging samples such as ctDNA from blood and other cell-free DNA sample types.
The increased limit of detection means that consistent performance with enhanced fluorescence and yield is achievable with gDNA template amounts as low as 0.01 ng.
The master mix is suitable for a wide range of reaction sizes and compatible with endpoint and qPCR cyclers.
Additionally, the SolisAcura™ Probe Genotyping qPCR Mix is room temperature stable for up to 1 month due to the use of Stability TAG – Solis BioDyne’s proprietary and patented polypeptide stabilization technology that is incorporated into the enzyme, enabling environmentally friendly ambient temperature shipping [1]. Room temperature stability also enables maximum convenience, allowing reactions to be set up without ice at room temperature.
