10x Lysis Buffer is designed for DNA extraction from various sample types, such as plant seeds and leaves, which are typically the most inhibitor-rich matrices worked with in applied sciences. The product has been validated on matrices such as soy, salad leaves, spinach, wheat, mung beans and maize.
The DNA lysate has been successfully tested in an allele-specific genotyping experiment with HOT SolisAcura™ Cassette-based Genotyping Mix (see image below).
Just because the sample matrix is not in the list of validated matrices does not mean it cannot be successfully lysed with the 10x Lysis Buffer. For tailored recommendations, we suggest sending an email to our technical support (support@solisbiodyne.com), and we will provide suggestions on how to use the product specific to the sample matrix you are using.
Routine storage: -20 ºC.
Temporary storage for up to 2 weeks at room temperature has no detrimental effects on the quality of 10x Lysis Buffer.
