SolisAcura™ Exo(-) DNA Polymerase enables recognition of misaligned nucleotides at the 3′ end of primers, resulting in highly specific extension and improved allelic discrimination. With 10–15× higher fidelity than wild-type Taq polymerase, the enzyme ensures more accurate nucleotide selection and reduced non-specific amplification.In addition to the standalone enzyme, the polymerase has been incorporated to a cassette-based genotyping mix for bi-allelic SNP detection common in agriculture. The chemically modified version of the novel enzyme with the exonuclease activity has been incorporated to hydrolysis probes based mix.
