SolisAcura™ Exo(-) DNA Polymerase enables recognition of misaligned nucleotides at the 3′ end of primers, resulting in highly specific extension and improved allelic discrimination. With 10–15× higher fidelity than wild-type Taq polymerase, the enzyme ensures more accurate nucleotide selection and reduced non-specific amplification.In addition to the standalone enzyme, the polymerase has been incorporated to a cassette-based genotyping mix for bi-allelic SNP detection common in agriculture. The chemically modified version of the novel enzyme with the exonuclease activity has been incorporated to hydrolysis probes based mix. Another version of this novel enzyme featuring an alternative chemical modification, allows for exonuclease activity, and this has been incorporated to our hydrolysis probes-based mix.
